When planning activities with toddlers in tow, consider a number of factors carefully. Attention span for young children is limited at best, so the activity should be only a couple of hours in length. No 8 hour fishing trips or 4 hour hiking expeditions. The Maui sun is intense, particularly after around 10 or 11am, so plan your outdoor activities with younger children as early as possible.
